Join one of our Book Clubs today:
Books and Banter meets in person at the Woodview Branch the last Tuesday of each month. We all read different books, often based on a theme. The group chooses the theme for the next month each meeting. This is a great way to find new authors, genres and titles that you might not have thought about otherwise. Casual drop in, the chat is fun and the coffee is hot! Drop in, free, no advance sign up required.
Zooming through the Chapters, meets online in the evening the first Wednesday of each month. We choose an older popular book, that you may have missed the first time around or have read before. These books are made available to us online through Overdrive/Libby through your library account. No waiting. Check our calendar of events for meeting dates, and book titles. Sign up required to receive the Zoom link each month.

Land Acknowledgement
Long before today there have been First Nation peoples who have been stewards and defenders of this land. The North Kawartha Library with respect and gratitude acknowledge we stand on the traditional, ancestral and treaty lands of the Treaty 20 Michi Saagiig territory and in the traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig and Chippewa Nations, collectively known as the Williams Treaties First Nations, which include: Curve Lake, Hiawatha, Alderville, Scugog Island, Rama, Beausoleil and Georgina Island First Nations.
