Can't find a book in our collection? You can submit a request to borrow it from another library with our Interlibrary Loan Service. To do this you need to fill out a form at either Branch and include the author, title and your contact information. You must have a Library Card in good standing to use this service.
Please make sure to check our catalogue first to see if we have the book.
We cannot request reference books, popular books, books less than one year old, DVDs or audiobooks using Interlibrary Loans.
Lost or damaged materials will be charged to the customer at the rate charged by the lending library.
Do you love a particular author, but we don't have all their books? We can get you the books we don't have through our Interlibrary Loan service.
How Long Will it Take?
Interlibrary Loans are sent and received by mail, so items can take up to two weeks or more to arrive. Most items are received within seven to ten days.
How Long Can I Keep an Interlibrary Loan Book?
Loan periods are determined by the lending library and are usually four to five weeks.
Requests for the renewal of Interlibrary Loan material must be received at least three days before the due date. Renewals may be requested by phone or in person at either Branch.
