Thank you for visiting the CAP site of the North Kawartha Public Library. Drop into the Library and our Youth Intern Samantha Kemp will be happy to assist you with any computer services we offer.
The Community Access Program, otherwise known as CAP, is a Government of Canada initiative, administered by Industry Canada, that aims to provide Canadians with affordable public access to the Internet and the skills they need to use it effectively.
We provide FREE internet access, as well as faxing, printing, scanning etc. for a minimal fee.
Basic computer training is available. These are free 45 minute, one on one sessions and must be booked in advance. Training topics can include internet searches, Microsoft Office, computer maintenance, managing e-mail and much more. We can also assist you with the Service Ontario website, whether you are looking for personal services or are looking for help in finding out how to start a business. Please call for an appointment. |
